The 12 day Paramotoring course is a zero to hero course designed for complete beginners who wish to master the wonderful sport of Paramotoring and complete the BMAA FLPA course.

tudents have the opportunity to fragment the course and therefore take it over a series of different days or weekends. The course fee includes all equipment hire, log books and instruction. Students can realistically expect to complete the BMAA FLPA course and become a BMAA qualified Paramotoring pilot at the end of the 12 day course.

Itinerary

During this course you will learn all the fundamental and advanced skills of Paramotoring to make you a qualified and safe pilot.

During the first 5 - 6 days you will learn all about the various aspects of the sport including safety, the equipment, launching, flying and landing. You will then move on to learning advanced skills and getting some serious flying time in to get you qualified.

Some of the advanced skills you will learn and flights you will take include: Multiple take offs and landings, multiple emergency and spot landings, multiple power on and power off landings, basic navigational tasks, in flight restarting, 30kms triangle cross country flight and much much more.

In short, this is the complete Paramotoring course for a beginner seriously wanting to take up the sport - it is loads of fun and after the course you should be ready to carry on the sport via you local club or association.

Duration:
The course is twelve full days - each day will last from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

What to Wear / Equipment:
The centre will provide you with all the equipment you will need. You should dress warmly - layers are best so you can take some off if you get hot. You should wear solid footwear ideally with ankle support. If the weather is hot you should take sun cream and lots of water.

Paramotoring is a weather dependent sport; always call the centre either the day before or on the day of your course to check that the course is going ahead.

Availability:
This course is available from April to November.

Restrictions:
Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight is 16 stone.
You should have a reasonable level of fitness. If you have a medical condition that you think may affect your ability to do this course please check with the centre when booking. Personal Accident cover is not included in the price of the course, the school is able to give you contact details of recommended insurers when booking the course.
