The course lasts 6-8 days, depending on your ability and the weather conditions. You’ll start by learning about the fundamental theory of paragliding, where you have to prepare your wing and equipment, do the necessary safety checks, assess site/weather conditions, take off and land by yourself, carry out moderate turns and execute a simple flight plan. After a few test runs from a slope, it’s time to fly! Your instructors will be on hand to guide and correct you, directing you by PTT (push to talk) transceivers if necessary. Once you’ve done 15 independent flights, you’ll receive your paragliding handbook and your official level. From now on, you’re free to fly! |
